Shawn Parker is a public address announcer and play-by-play broadcaster covering football, basketball, baseball, in addition to a half a dozen other sports.​ He is currently the public address announcer for the NBA's Charlotte Hornets.

 

For more than 10 years, he has been behind the mic as a public address announcer, play-by-play broadcaster, game analyst and studio host. Shawn has appeared as a play-by-play announcer on Mediacom, Town Square Television, NFHS Network, Gametime Minnesota, George Washington University Sports, The Gameday Broadcast Network and for the 2024 HBCU All-Star Dream Classic from Harlem's legendary Holcombe Rucker Park.​

 

He has appeared as a public address announcer on ESPN, TNT, NBA TV, Fox Sports North/Bally Sports North, and NBA 2K22, 2K23 and 2K24.​ Shawn is a graduate of the University of Maryland, and began his career as a Public Address Announcer with George Washington University and the Minnesota Timberwolves.​ In addition to football, basketball and baseball, Shawn has called softball, soccer, hockey, volleyball and professional wrestling.
